A couple months ago i shared this quick snapshot of my Cricut storage on my LikeToKnow.it app! I blew up on Pinterest! I also have noticed so many of my friends finally getting this incredible machine. This blog post will contain the details on what is included in this Cricut storage cart and where you can get it from. [this post contains affiliate links]

First and foremost, What exactly is a cricut? In short, a Cricut is a cutting machine. I use mine to create project for school, shirts for the kids or friends, home decor projects and so much more. It’s so perfect for the moms out there with younger children in school. Those school projects and fun tshirt days sneak up quick!

My favorite projects have been signs for events, glasses and tshirts! Here is an example of my most recent cricut project for a friends wedding!

The Storage Solution:

It was becoming overwhelming trying to find a space to keep this machine and all the extra accessories i acquired. I found this rolling cart while wasting time in Michaels and it has been the greatest thing ever! [you can see dimensions by clicking the link HERE] I store it in my laundry room and when i need to make larger projects, i roll it into the office. When it’s a quick small project i pop open the extender and use it right in the laundry room. It’s VERY convenient and easy to use.

The top of the cart is where i store my Cricut. [By the way i have the Cricut explore air 2 in Mint. I don’t know all the differences between this and the Maker but this one works perfect for me and my projects.]

The Second Shelf:

This is where i keep my small accessories bin as well as my heat press! I have the 9 x 9 cricut heat press and it has worked for all shirts i’ve made from onesies, big kid shirts and adult shirts for bachelorette parties! For larger shirts, i do one section at a time. [You can see more cricut heat press options in my amazon list]

To dive deeper into my little bin, this thing was a perfect find for what i need it for. Very inexpensive from Michaels and has a section that pulls out. [per photos below] The handle comes in clutch for easy grab and go to another room if necessary.

The Bottom Bins:

Vinyl, extras and card stock are stored in these bins! [as you can see by the labels] The extra’s bin is where i store scraps and larger pieces that were cut up but can be used for another project. We don’t like to waste vinyl after all. Transfer paper is self explanatory, but this stores all the rolls of transfer paper for vinyl projects that require the use of it. Singles bin is full of single 12 x 12 sheets of vinyl. On amazon i purchased a huge variety pack of colors that came in singles. Card stock bin is my pure white card stock as well as the singles from Michaels i have purchased for projects. Yes, the cricut does cut card stock too!

Moving onto the larger bins on the right – this is where i store the rolls of iron on vinyl and permanent vinyl. Yes, there is a difference. Iron on vinyl is for projects such as creating t-shirts. Whereas, the permanent vinyl is used for projects such as the signs i shared above for the bridal shower. Creating projects like that will require the transfer paper i mentioned before.

* Note: I created the labels using the Cricut! I wish i remembered exactly which font these are, but i did create them on Canva.

I hope this blog post helps you declutter your current cricut storage or even inspire you to get into the craft of making projects with a cricut. If you have any questions on what i shared, you’re welcome to send me a direct message through instagram.

  1. I have the same cart and just love it. Love the way you labeled the drawers. Guess what my next project is. đŸ™‚ The biggest problem I have is picking a font. What font did you use for this? Glad I found you and will be following.
